Chocolate bark is a favourite for Halloween season—easy to make, fun to customise, and perfect for festive snacking. For this recipe, we created spooky little ghost shapes, but you can get creative with bats, pumpkins, or other Halloween-themed decorations. Slice the bark into bite-sized pieces for a sweet treat during scary movie nights, alongside honeycomb, marshmallow bats, or other Halloween goodies.
With just three simple base ingredients, this chocolate bark is quick to prepare and can be made a couple of days in advance—just store it in the fridge to keep it fresh.
It’s also a fantastic Halloween activity for kids—fun, simple, and absolutely delicious! Perfect for family-friendly Halloween baking and festive gatherings.

INGREDIENTS
300g of your favourite dark chocolate ( use vegan if needed )
100g of white chocolate ( use vegan if needed )
1x tbsp of butter
dash of water if needed to make the chocolate silky and smooth
raisins for decorating the ghost eyes & mouth
handful of orange & green coated chocolate candy ( use vegan if needed )
METHOD
In a small sauce pan add the dark chocolate and butter and melt on a very low heat until fully melted. If the chocolate splits and becomes thick and lumpy just add a small dash of water and stir until smooth.
Transfer the melted chocolate into your lined 30 x 20 cm tray and smooth out evenly.
Add the white chocolate to a small sauce pan and melt on a very low heat. If it goes thick and lumpy, which I find happens a lot when melting white chocolate, simply add a dash or two of water and stir until smooth.
Using a dessert spoon carefully spoon your ghost shapes on to the dark chocolate.
Add your raisin eyes and mouths and the candy and then pop it into the fridge for approximately 1 hour or until fully set.
Remove from the tray and transfer to a chopping board and cut into your preferred sized pieces - enjoy!
