Amaretti Whip – Recipe Card

Serves: 4 | Prep Time: 5 minutes | Chill Time: Optional – 1+ hour for best flavor

No-Bake | Make-Ahead Friendly | Effortlessly Elegant

  • 300g Thick Cream

  • 200g Cream Cheese

  • 1/2 cup of Honey

  • 1/4 cup of Raw Cacau Powder

  • tsp Vanilla Extract

  • 2x tbsp of Instant Coffee mixed with 1x tbsp of Water

  • Approximately 8 - 10 crushed Amaretti Biscuits plus 4 whole ones for the top

  • Good quality Dark Chocolate - we like to use Dark Coffee Chocolate - this is to top and decorate with (shavings & shards) we use approximately 2 strips

Instructions

Make the whip:

In a freestanding mixing bowl add the cream, cream cheese, vanilla, cacau, honey and coffee. Whip together until soft peaks form and everything is silky and light.

Layer it up:

In serving glasses or jars, layer crushed amaretti biscuits at the bottom, followed by a generous spoonful of the whipped mixture. Repeat layers if your glass allows.

Top & serve:

Finish with a swirl of the cream, a sprinkle of amaretti crumbs, and a whole biscuit on top for drama. Finely grate some chocolate over the top, and add a broken square of chocolate too. (If making ahead and chilling in the fridge I like to leave off the top layer of crushed and whole amaretti biscuits to ensure they keep their crunch)

Chill (optional or serve immediately)

Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow flavours to mingle. Serve cold.

Tips

  • Adjust sweetness to taste — add more honey or a touch of sugar if you like it sweeter.

  • For a boozy twist, add a splash of amaretto or coffee liqueur.

  • Serve in espresso cups, martini glasses, or mini jars for presentation wow-factor.
