These Nutty Cocoa Bars are a simple, wholesome snack made with just a handful of nourishing ingredients. Naturally sweetened with Medjool dates and packed with walnuts, oats, seeds and cocoa, they make the perfect healthy energy bar for snacks, or meal prep.

Everything is blended in a food processor and pressed into a tray before being set in the freezer. The result is a rich, chocolatey bar with a soft chewy texture and a delicious nutty crunch. They’re ideal for keeping in the freezer so you always have a quick homemade snack ready when hunger strikes.


Storage

  • Store the Nutty Cocoa Bars in an airtight container in the freezer to keep them firm and sliceable.

  • Because they are made with dates, nut butter and coconut oil, they soften quite quickly at room temperature. For the best texture, remove a bar from the freezer and allow it to sit for 30–60 seconds before enjoying.

  • These bars are perfect as a quick snack straight from the freezer, but they become quite soft if left out.
